Rabies post-exposure prophylaxis saves many lives, but poor availability remains in many rabies-endemic countries. Epidemiological and economic models are used to investigate the effect of an investment in post-exposure prophylaxis by Gavi.
With this report, four organizations have joined forces to reach the goal of ending human deaths from rabies by 2030. The collaboration leverages existing tools and expertise in a coordinated way to empower, engage and enable countries to save human lives from this preventable disease.
