From Bhutan to Sri Lanka — Passing the Baton towards Zero by 30

Description

Join United Against Rabies for a regional event marking the transition from Bhutan’s rabies elimination achievements to Sri Lanka’s journey towards Zero by 30.

The programme will highlight regional progress towards eliminating dog-mediated human rabies, lessons from Bhutan’s elimination journey, Sri Lanka’s roadmap to elimination, and experiences from the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO). A moderated discussion will explore sustained financing, dog population management, cross-border risks, community engagement and maintaining elimination.

Please register to receive your Zoom joining details. The meeting will be held in a hybrid format, with an in-person component in Colombo.
