Dog Population Management (DPM) for Policy Makers

Produced by: ICAM

Description

This is a free online course that is self-guided and can be taken at any time. Learners of the policy course are expected to have degree level qualification in the field of public policy or law, or work experience to an equivalent level. Learners with the role of planning, implementing or evaluating DPM may find the ‘Implementing DPM’ course more appropriate.

The course introduces DPM at a high level, outlining the structure and functioning of a DPM system, with particular focus on the important role of policy development at all levels to support localised DPM design and implementation. This course also emphasises the important role of human behaviour in DPM systems and explains the basics of behaviour change science as an approach to effective DPM policymaking.

To pass the course and achieve a certificate, you must achieve a score of at least 80% in the final assessment (correctly answer 8 of 9 questions, you are given unlimited opportunities to retake).
